This is Miss Brudget! We rescued our little princess about 6 years ago! My pets are my children…along with my human children…and they are my world!! The rescue organization…A Silver Lining for Pitbulls…was not sure of her age but I could tell that she was older than they were guessing! But that didn’t change anything…because I instantly fell in love with her!! It also meant that our other rescue furbaby, Nick, had a sister and companion! I never thought about the time when her age would become a volatile factor in her health and life…and unfortunately…we watched her pass of heart failure on our bed on March 17, 2020. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through…and the helplessness she and I both felt were heartbreaking…as she was looking to her Momma for help. It happened on a Sunday…and I was panicking because I didn’t know who I could call forfurby, to arrange services for her. A simple internet search brought me to GVF’s page…and Jacquie returned our message within 15 minutes! She even came to pick up our baby girl…as it was crippling me to think about having to do all these things with our Bridget. I don’t know what I would have done without Jacquie…and her kindness and concern were more than I had expected! Thank you for everything you have done for us and for also bringing our baby home after cremation! You made an almost unbearable situation…a little less painful for us!
